On 5 April 2026, at True Vine Church, we witnessed a beautiful and powerful expression of God’s work among us a day that will remain written in our hearts as a testimony of salvation, unity, and the life of the church as one body in Christ.
The day began with a sacred and joyful moment as new believers stepped forward in water baptism, publicly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ. It was a clear declaration of transformation old life surrendered, and new life received through the grace of God. As they went through the waters, we were reminded of the words of Scripture: Acts 10:47
“Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”
There was a deep sense of reverence and joy as we witnessed lives being committed to the Lord. Heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents, and we too rejoiced as a family, celebrating the goodness and mercy of God upon each soul.
But the beauty of the day did not end at the baptism waters.
We continued in the spirit of koinonia “true Christian fellowship” , where the church is not only a place of gathering but a living family united in Christ. In our home cells, we shared meals together, opened the Word, sang Psalms, and reflected on the goodness of God. It was a simple yet profound expression of Acts 2:42 “
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
In those moments around the table, we were reminded that the church is not only built in services, but also in shared life, shared joy, and shared burdens. We experienced unity not as an idea, but as a lived reality ; brothers and sisters in Christ strengthening one another, encouraging one another, and rejoicing together.
There was laughter, there was gratitude, there was worship, and above all, there was love. The Psalms we shared became songs of our hearts, and the meals we shared became a symbol of the communion we have in Christ.
Truly, it was a day where we saw the Gospel not only preached, but lived where salvation met fellowship, and faith became family.
We give thanks to God for His presence among us and for continuing to build His church among us. May He keep shaping us into a people rooted in His Word, growing in love, and walking together in unity and purpose.
