“And the Lord Added to Their Number Daily…”
A Living Testimony of New Beginnings, Growth, and Apostolic Fellowship
On 2 March 2025, TRUE VINE Church gathered for a remarkable and joy-filled service that reflected the unity, faith, and spiritual vitality of the early Church. It was a day marked by thanksgiving, fellowship, discipleship, and a renewed sense of God’s purpose for the future.
More than a regular Sunday gathering, this special occasion became a testimony of God’s faithfulness and His ongoing work among His people.
As members, visitors, and friends came together in worship, the atmosphere was filled with gratitude, expectation, and a shared commitment to God’s mission.
A Historic First Gathering on Our New Church Land
One of the most memorable moments of the day was the church’s first gathering on the newly acquired land entrusted to TRUE VINE Church Burundi.
This was far more than a change of location. It represented a significant step forward in the church’s journey and a visible reminder of God’s faithfulness.
Standing together on this land, the congregation reflected on how God continues to establish His people and expand His Kingdom according to His divine purpose.
The gathering became both a celebration of God’s provision and a declaration of faith for the future. It marked the beginning of a new chapter characterized by growth, vision, and expectation for generations to come.
This historic moment served as a reminder that every foundation built on Christ becomes a platform for future ministry and impact.
Celebrating Unity and New Year Blessings
The day also provided a beautiful opportunity for members to encourage one another and speak blessings over their families as they entered a new season together.
Prayers were offered for peace, wisdom, strength, protection, and God’s guidance in every area of life.
Throughout the gathering, there was a strong sense of family and belonging. The church demonstrated what it means to live as one body in Christ—supporting, encouraging, and walking together in faith.
This moment reflected the spirit of the early believers who shared life together with sincerity, love, and a common purpose.
As relationships were strengthened and hearts united, the congregation was reminded that true church growth is not only measured by numbers but also by spiritual unity and genuine fellowship.
Strengthening Foundations Through Discipleship
Another major highlight of the day was the recognition and certification of believers who completed the First Principles of Christian Faith discipleship program supported by Antioch Foundation Burundi.
This achievement represented much more than the completion of a course.
It demonstrated a commitment to biblical truth, spiritual maturity, and lifelong discipleship.
Participants spent time studying foundational Christian doctrines, strengthening their understanding of Scripture, and developing a deeper relationship with God.
Through this training, believers were equipped to stand firmly in their faith, grow in spiritual discernment, and confidently live out the Gospel in their daily lives.
The church family rejoiced as they witnessed growth not only in attendance but also in spiritual depth and maturity.
Walking in the Pattern of the Early Church
Throughout the gathering, worship, prayer, fellowship, and thanksgiving reflected the biblical model of the Church described in the Book of Acts.
The words of Acts 2:47 captured the spirit of the day:
“Praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
The congregation also stood upon the promise found in Ephesians 3:20–21:
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
These Scriptures reminded everyone present that God remains actively involved in building His Church, transforming lives, and preparing His people for greater things ahead.
Looking Forward With Faith and Expectation
As TRUE VINE Church moves into this new season, the congregation does so with hearts full of gratitude and faith.
The events of this special gathering served as a testimony that God is opening new doors, strengthening His people, and laying foundations for future growth and ministry.
With a continued commitment to biblical teaching, discipleship, fellowship, and the leading of the Holy Spirit, the church remains confident that God’s work among His people will continue to flourish.
What was witnessed on this day was not the destination—it was the beginning of a greater journey.
To God Be the Glory
TRUE VINE Church gives thanks to God for His faithfulness, provision, and guidance throughout every season.
As we look ahead, we remain devoted to growing in Christ, serving our communities, and advancing God’s Kingdom for His glory.
To God alone be all the glory, now and forever.
